I'm Madelyn (also known as Maddle), a Long Beach, CA-based special effects artist and creative focused on visual storytelling through makeup, prosthetics, and character design. My background in photography and makeup led me to pursue formal training at The Douglas Education Center’s Tom Savini Special Effects Program, where I developed skills in moldmaking, prosthetic application, prop fabrication, and on-set makeup effects. My work leans into themes of horror, dark ideology, emotional expression, and alternative whimsy—blending technical precision with narrative depth. Whether creating unsettling beauty or exploring the versatility of pain through visual effects, I aim to craft immersive and impactful experiences with every project.
